Five Types of Visual Content for Social Media!

Check out the five types of visual content for social media you can use:

1. Infographics for showing information and graphics together

It’s a form of visual graphical representation for information or data. It combines images with graphics and statistics. The intention of using Infographics is to present complex information quickly, easily and clearly.

They are high quality, colorful, engaging and last for a long time in the mind of a person who is interpreting the information.

The best thing about them is that you can use Infographics to recreate your old blog, post or even a video and cater a whole new audience.

2. Interactive content for more engagement

This is a highly recommended approach for getting the readers to invest more time in your brand or blog. Use your site, social media accounts to ask questions, quizzes, and puzzles from the reader. This interactive content engages the reader to your brand and also is fun to do, so people are willing to invest time.

One can use the method of Call to act- which is a short statement at the end of any content pieces. These statements should be such that viewers are forced to converse with them further with the brand or within the community.

Note: don’t ask yes or no questions; ask something that makes them talk about in depth.

3. Gifs for lighter tone and more engagement

Nowadays, GIFs are the best way to engage people on social media. We are seen sending gifs to our friends when they ask us something stupid or weird. The same kind of humor can be used to engage people through our social media website.

A gif of our video can be uploaded on Instagram or Facebook, and people will watch it because it’s short, if they like what they are seeing you will have a new person surfing your brand.

They are super fun but only if used in the right context. They can help break the ice between two people, but it’s important to realize when and where to use them.

4. Images and Videos

Images: maybe the simplest form of visual content, but when used as memes, screenshot, and photos, they are the strongest tool at your disposal.

Images can be used to break up the text so that reader finds it more easy and fun to read. For example, quotes can be placed on a visual that will inspire, and engage the reader more.

Memes are usually humorous or sarcastic having contextual meaning. People love memes and share it often. So, be careful while putting it on your page. Don’t make it offending or cheap. Be classy and fun with it.

Videos combine text, images, and audio into a single platform, and are helpful in engaging a person three times more than anything else.

It stays online for a long time and people can re-visit or new people can visit it long after it has been posted, thus bringing new clients. They can be used for tutorials, client response or advertising etc.

It’s costly and time-consuming, but if the quality is great it can have an immense impact on the viewers.

5. Presentation for sequenced information
