According to Marissa Mayer, who is the Vice President of Search Products and User Experience, the main motto of Google is to create a comprehensive search in the whole globe. Therefore updates like Twitter have only added to the convenience as they have acted as they act as a platform for people to tell their thoughts and feelings, but also help in distributing the information that a lot of people may require at any given time.
The blog also elaborated that with the emerging of entirely new data, Twitter has become as helpful source for people from all over the world. The blog also announced a collaboration of Google with Twitter that the search engine will involve the updates in their search results.
According to Marissa Mayer, this will enhance the user experience of their users in a major way. In addition, the Google users would be greatly benefited from this collaboration. So next time, you will search for any keyword, you will at the same time get updates from the Twitter (by other users) as well.
